Hello everyone welcome back to my blog,
Miss Leonard gave us the task to use our six senses in our writing which are, smell, hear, touch, taste, emotions, sight. She gave us the writing prompt of ‘I could hear the thunder, booming in the sky. Suddenly the lights went out and the room went pitch black’. We had to use specific words they are, Chilling Forbidden Hesitant Unfocused Fascinating.
Here is my writing:
I could hear the thunder, booming in the sky. Suddenly the lights went out and the room went pitch black. I ran out the kitchen door and started to run to the forbidden town where my son ran to when he was a kid.
As I was running I face planted into a puddle it felt very moist, when I got up when lighting struck a nearby power pole I was hesitant to go any further. I could feel that my son was scared I had to power through this storm. I was halfway there then I saw a man crying for my help, his leg was taken off by a falling power pole I picked him up on my shoulders and took him on my journey to find my son. My shoulders got weaker and weaker, I was unfocused and tripped on a stone dropped him on his head I was about to pick him back up suddenly lighting blew him up *Explosion noise* I saw the leftovers of him fly over my head but nothing will stop me from getting my son. I finally made it to the forbidden town I looked around I saw the closet I made it to a suspicious looking house I was holding a knife as I knocked on the door. Nobody answered so I opened the door to see my son chilling on the couch. “fascinating that he was ok”.
Thank you for reading my blog post. Have a nice week. What is your favorite sense out of the six?
Kind regards
Luke
